Cedric never truly had any interest in love back when he was alive, content with spending his time around his dear dolls instead. This feeling of not wanting to do anything with love at all only got stronger in his afterlife. In addition, his severely paranoid personality would lead to him horribly mistreating his partner, becoming unhealthily obsessed just like he treats his dolls. If the person does not give in to his eternal questions and needs, chances are he will go mad out of worry and basically self-destruct as a result.
Yeah, it’s better for everyone that he remains single.

Occupation

The rare occasions where Cedric will come out of his workshop are when Alyssia Jones needs him. He forms the brute strength-aspect of her little proxy-crew, his mechanical body having contributed to that. While he can sometimes be rather relactant about following any rders she gives him, he's known for being surprisingly loyal and doing his best with whatever it is he has to do.

It was a small chance that these two would meet; but a storm on the right place at the right time resulted in Cedric taking shelter in Grande’s theatre. The rest is history.~
While their first meeting wasn’t exactly without any troubles - god knows how long it took to get that dagger out of his shoulder joint - Grande’s skills with repairing props from the stage allowed him to gain Cedric’s trust. In turn, Cedric has been there to comfort and reassure his friend whenever the man had a breakdown. They take and they give, a very balanced friendship!~

The Metal Puppet Man definitely feels at ease around Savage - unlike what you’d expect. She seems to understand him, and in turn, he understands everything she tells him. The two can talk for hours on end, Cedric telling her about whatever he remembers from his past and listening to every story Natalie tells him in return. Not only that, but they have matching interests! Chocolate milk buddies for life.~

Cedric and Alan certainly get along; the two have plenty to bond over. While usually Cedric is a rather distant and cold figure, he has managed to learn how to trust Mister Fun enough to tolerate his presence. He certainly enjoys seeing him around, even if the puppet has his days of being rather snappy towards him. It’s nothing personal, don’t worry-

After an attempt at taking Yan’s life, Cedric successfully calmed down and began to talk to his previous ‘victim’. They began to get to know each other more and more, and are currently fairly good friends against all expectations. They get along well - though Cedric still doesn’t appreciate Yan laughing at him all the time.

Cedric met this little cute puppet after nearly killing it's caretaker. Ced’s everlasting love for marionettes made sure to spare the little guy; and he’s been friends with them ever since. Ced's doll-obsessed nature occasionally causes him to be a little too cautious around the little puppet, resulting in him being fearful to even touch the tiny thing. Being so strong for no reason is awful sometimes.
But still.

Cedric loves this guy-- platonically of course. After having met, Chrysathium has been trying to pry everything about his past from him - but Cedric does not mind. He has shown his newfound friend whatever remained of his old workshop well, and Chrysathium seemed to be so fascinated about it! Chrysathium’s relaxed attitude also helps a ton in keeping Ced himself calm and collected.~

Cedric would trust Dulcie with whatever is left of his life, and he knows she’d do the same. The sweetness, creativity and loyalty of this little robot-puppet gal have melted his heart again and again and again! It pains him to see how lonely she can be though, and he tries to be a good companion for her as much as he can. Especially the fact she is just like him and has gone through a similar struggle after death likely, is something that motivates him to keep her safe. He can get a little… Too obsessive, though. The downside of being a puppet around him.

Cedric’s obsessive nature shows once again around this lovely doll-lady. He is extremely careful with her, always worrying about her current state of being. No damage? No pain? Feeling happy? These are all key to keeping the mechanical puppet satisfied around her. Even if she appears not to be all she is at times, Cedric chooses to ignore it and focus on the things he adores about her.

Cedric’s been treasuring the little wooden heart he received from this little guy ever since they met, and he certainly enjoys his presence whenever he is around. Especially at times where he craved comfort, was Oliver there to calm him down and give him the reassurance he needed. Cedric is unusually kind and friendly with the little boy, and will definitely make some time for him whenever he asks for it. Tom the hat is something Ced does not trust as much, though.

Cedric and Vine certainly aren't enemies - though Vine seems to be quite uncomfortable in Cedric’s presence.
They uh, both agree on the fact Ced is not exactly ‘pretty’.
However, Vine seems to be fascinated by the craftsmanship used to make Cedric's body, and Cedric in turn is trying to pry the Dollmaker’s tactics to make such beautiful dolls from him. They certainly get along - yet Svetlana seems not exactly happy with the attention Ced is receiving from her friend.

While Cedric suspects her from being human on occasion, he is charmed by her polite ways and offering for help. He most certainly trusts her - though he is’t quite certain if he could call her a ‘friend’ already. There is something about her - something that makes her stand out from the rest.

These two have epic staring contests, let me say that first. Cedric isn’t entirely sure whether to trust him or not, though he doesn't seem to be planning to harm him in the slightest. And while a little unsure, he has grown to appreciate Nathan’s presence more and more over time. He does not trust him enough to be calling him ‘friend’ yet, but he definitely feels that he could rely on the quiet stalker if he’d have to. He holds a lot of respect for Nathan, and that says a lot.

These two.
Cedric strongly dislikes the Puppeteer for rather.. obvious reasons. Fear of manipulation, stuck in a puppet body, guy names Puppeteer comes along, you get the drill.
However, that isn’t all that has happened between them; it has even come so far that Pup had completely disassembled the poor Puppet once-- And uh, reassembled him in a way that was not exactly appreciated.
He’s been walking/hopping around with his head stuck to his knee for a looooong time. Asshole.

Cedric feels very, very uncomfortable in the presence of this ghostly woman. Her manipulative and dominant ways have disgusted him to the core every time - he can’t stand being around her for long, and fears her with all he has. However, he simply has no choice but to stick close to her at times and obey her commands. Why did he ever agree on being her proxy again, probably because he was dead afraid of her the moment she asked it-

I've been wanting to do this for a while now, just like the reference sheet line-up! This is much more clear compares to that long lit that the bottom of Ced's ref-- X3

I do prefer it if you'd give me some headcanons to go along with it-- I like elaborating on the relationships a bit. e^e

Update: added 3 new friendships, 1 neutral relationship, and his occupation! In addition, it's now clear he is single. :3
